World War II Documentary - Chindit Tales
This is a 90 minute documentary we produced in 1996 after months of research, filming and editing. The result is a unique insight to the
Chindits who a Special Force operating in Japanese occupied Burma between 1943-1945. Listening to the stories these brave old men were telling inspired me to record their memories of that time and what memories they were!

Back in 1996 the interview footage was filmed on two hi8 camcorders and edited without the assistance of a computer (the software just wasn't around in those days!) Video copies were on sale through the Chindits Old Comrades Association, and both the Army Museum and the Imperial War Museum.

Sadly, today, most of the Chindits have passed away but their young lives as British Soldiers live on through this film.
The film is now available on DVD. To order a copy please telephone APS Video Productions on 01564 703960.
